About the Role

We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates for the position of Porter.

You will work as part of the team in a fast-paced environment striving to always achieve the highest standards of customer service to our proprietors and service users.

Duties include general cleaning tasks, basic ground maintenance, receiving and distributing stock/deliveries, moving furniture, waste removal, events set-up and any other ad-hoc duties required.

The successful candidate will be organised, punctual and efficient. You will also have excellent attention to detail and can effectively meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high-quality service. You must be able to work autonomously, with the ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks in line with our proprietors and service users. 

Porterage duties include physical activities which will involve lifting, carrying, and manual handling, as well as the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.
