Chris Gledhill, Culture & Development Manager
Why do you love working at Haven?
The culture! I joined the business back in 2019, when I had heard so much about its people, its amazing culture and the many opportunities to grow as a person and your skill set. With a background in Learning and development, it felt like a great opportunity for me to grow📈 and develop myself in a larger business with great people!
What is it like to work as part of your team?
The Haven people team is the function I work with and specifically Culture & Wellbeing department. I have the honour and privilege to lead both these special areas across Haven and collaborate with so many people across the business, to ensure we are living our values and daring to care for our team.
What does a typical day look like in your role?
No day is ever the same! Sounds cheesy, but I do love my role and have the opportunity every day to add value and hopefully make a difference in both their professional and personal lives, through looking after the wellbeing approach.
What training and development have you received?
Since joining the business I’ve led many Leadership development courses📚, as well as having my insights completed and been on the GROW to senior leader programme.
Who is your favourite member of the Seaside squad?
It would be wrong of me to pick one, as they all have their own amazing qualities…. But who doesn’t like a cheeky monkey 😉
