Why do you love working at Haven? 

I have worked for Bourne Leisure and Haven for 6 years now and have enjoyed every minute. It’s a great company to work for, providing recognition to our great team members in our monthly Team Star awards, enjoying BBQ’s ☀️ in the courtyard and fun entertainment at the Christmas lunches. Haven is a lovely place to work.

What is it like to work as part of your team?

I work with a great team, we have a busy job which requires hard work but we always have a laugh while doing so. It is a pleasure to be part of such a great team 💙.

What does a typical day look like in your role? e.g what do you do, any projects you are involved in. 

I work in the Product Team within Haven Technology where, as a team, we look after People and Finance systems. We follow the Agile Methodology where we work in 2-week sprints to plan, test, deliver and review our work, whilst also providing support for our systems. As a People System Product Owner 💻 I work closely with the Recruitment and Learning teams, collecting requirements and planning work for the Product Operations team to complete within our 2-week sprints.

What training and development have you received?

I completed the ‘Grow to Team Leader’ course. This was a great course which ran over multiple sessions hosted at our Head Office in Hemel and also at our Parks and Hotels.

Rory – he is the original and who doesn’t love a Tiger! 🐯
