At The Perfume Shop, our people mean the world to us. We're proud to be recognised by the Living Wage Foundation and the Top Employers Institute for ensuring fair pay and a great workplace. We help our team grow through apprenticeships and learning programs, turning them into perfume experts. We actively listen to our employees, with an 85% engagement score in 2023 and always aim to do better. We're committed to respecting human rights and support charitable causes like Alzheimer’s Research UK, 'Look Good, Feel Better,' 'Operation Smile,' and the Marie Keating Foundation. Plus, we love getting together for fundraisers and lending a hand to local causes through volunteering.

We’re already on a conscious journey to minimise our impact on the planet. We have introduced a bottle recycling service across all stores, with almost 10,000 bottles recycled so far! We opt for paper not plastic; only using paper bags in our stores. We use digital cards on The Perfume Shop app. With over 5 million Rewards Club members, that's a lot of plastic we've saved on cards! We are 100% zero carbon with electricity generated through wind, solar and hydro. All our energy is renewable, and our lighting is LED. We were delighted that two Perfume People based at our Warehouse were recognised by Retail Week for their efforts in raising money for the Disasters Emergency Committee appeal for Ukraine.

We're really proud to have introduced the first of its kind multibrand refill station, delivered in collaboration with L'Oreal, and we strive to lead the way and be an early adopter for brands introducing sustainable options. We hope that by encouraging our suppliers to explore sustainable practices, we will start a ripple effect and promote a more eco-conscious approach across the industry. Our cardboard packaging for online deliveries is made from 90% post-consumer waste, the highest percentage possible at this time. It is 100% recyclable.
