There are 4 key pillars to our Sustainability strategy

We pride ourselves on being a family of passionate perfume people. We embrace talent, passion and spark and celebrate diversity. We aim to educate and create a stimulating environment, where our teams can flourish and share their knowledge. We recognise and reward every individual for their contribution, no matter where they are in their journey.

We’re already on a conscious journey to minimise our impact on the planet. So far we have introduced a bottle recycling service across all our stores, with over 5,000 bottles recycled in 2022. We opt for paper not plastic; only using paper bags in our stores. We use digital cards on The Perfume Shop app. With over 5 million Rewards Club members, that's a lot of plastic we've saved on cards! We are 100% zero carbon with electricity generated through wind, solar and hydro. All our energy is renewable, and our lighting is LED.

We’re passionate about supporting causes close to our hearts. We raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK who are the UK’s leading dementia research charity. We also support ‘Look Good, Feel Better’ who deliver cancer support services in local communities, helping people face cancer with confidence. In the Republic of Ireland, we support the Marie Keating Foundation, a leading voice in Ireland for cancer prevention, awareness and support. Our ScentQuarters regularly supports our local food bank One Can, both donating and sorting goods for their clients. We were delighted that two Perfume People based at our Warehouse were recognised by Retail Week for their efforts in raising money for the Disasters Emergency Committee appeal for Ukraine.

We're really proud of the fact that we were the first retailer to introduce Thierry Mugler's refillable bottles and we continue to work with all our suppliers to develop sustainable solutions. We strive to lead the way and be an early adopter for brands introducing sustainable options. We hope that by encouraging our suppliers to explore sustainable practices, we will start a ripple effect and promote a more eco-conscious approach across​ the industry. Our cardboard packaging for online deliveries is made from 90% post-consumer waste, the highest percentage possible at this time. It is 100% recyclable.
