Global Roles

Our work is a truly global commitment. To care for all 1.7 million Commonwealth men and women who died as a result of the world wars, we have teams across the world.

Regardless of where they are, our teams are united in their commitment to the men and women we care for.

Canada, Americas, and Pacific Area

More than any other team, CAPA encapsulates the global nature of our work, spanning time zones and crossing continents while to ensure a high level of care for all of our commemorations across the region.

They cover an area stretching from the snowy north of Canada, through the Americas and down into the tropical warmth of the Pacific. The area that this team covers is matched only be their level of dedication – often travelling across huge distances to complete their work.

If being part of a close-knit team that works across some of the most beautiful parts of the world sounds like a dream job for you, then our CAPA Team will be the perfect fit.

Africa and Asia Area

Our Africa and Asia area is home to some of the most exciting work happening currently at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

We recently inaugurated the Cape Town Labour Corps Memorial in South Africa, commemorating 1700 Black South Africans from the First World War who previously had not been commemorated. It is the latest step as we work to ensure each of the fallen of the two world wars is commemorated in perpetuity.

Our work in Africa and Asia remains some of the most cutting edge work we carry out at the Commission, including research projects, infrastructure and maintenance developments, sustainable ways of working and ensuring that those who gave their lives in service are not forgotten.

Our dream candidate

We’re looking for people that share our passion. We’re here to help you develop your skills and give you opportunities to grow – even an interest in history isn’t a must have – all we ask is that you buy in to our mission.

You’ll be joining an organisation that’s existed for more than 100 years, who are committed to commemorating the fallen of the two world wars. You’ll be part of our story and help write the next chapter.

If you want a job that matters, for an organisation with purpose, apply now.
