Plenty of applicants. Too few of them qualified.

inploi asks for the qualification first and ranks every application, so your team spends its time on the candidates who hold it.

Qualifications

A trainer role starts with a qualification.

A personal trainer or fitness coach role usually needs a Level 3 qualification. Plenty of applicants are working towards it, hold a different one, or have not read that far down the advert.

Someone has to open each application to find out. Every unqualified application read is time not spent calling the qualified candidate who applied the same morning.

The empty role

Members notice an empty trainer role first.

Fewer classes on the timetable, nobody on the gym floor at peak, members asking who to talk to.

PureGym calls the personal trainer the frontline role that carries the member experience. And the roles that matter most tend to be the ones that sit open longest, in the locations that are hardest to fill.

One team, many gyms

One recruitment team, hundreds of gyms.

A central team hires for every site, from trainers and instructors to gym managers, while head office roles run alongside. Reporting gets compiled by hand from several systems, so the question of which campaign brought qualified applicants to which gym takes hours to answer.

Gym managers want that answer for their own site, without waiting for a report.

Members apply too

Some of your best applicants already train with you.

A member who knows the gym, the equipment and the regulars can be a strong candidate for the floor. They are also a member, and a member who applies and hears nothing has a membership to think about.

So every application needs an answer, including the ones that do not fit. Asking for the qualification first helps here too: a member working towards their Level 3 learns that at the start, not after a fortnight of silence.

How inploi helps

inploi is the hiring experience platform for large frontline employers. The Candidate Agent and Hiring Agent handle the admin, and your people do the hiring. Careers sites, conversational apply, job distribution, and analytics and attribution work around the agents, connected to the ATS you already run. It is software with a service: you get a team that works with yours, not just a login.

An application that asks the basics first

Conversational apply asks a role's basic requirements early, such as the qualification, so candidates can see whether the role fits before they go further. Your team sets the questions for each role.

At PureGym, completing an application takes under a minute.

Job distribution for the gyms that are hard to fill

Job distribution puts each role where the right candidates are looking, with social campaigns layered in for hard-to-fill locations and nobody managing a job board by hand. Analytics and attribution show application quality, drop-off by step and return by campaign in one view, for the central team and gym managers alike.

Every application scored against your criteria

The Hiring Agent reads every application, scores it against the criteria your team sets for the role and writes down why. Your team gets a ranked list with the reasoning beside each name. No candidate is ever rejected by AI: a person always makes the decision.

Runs on the ATS you already have

inploi connects to the applicant tracking system you use today, and your records stay there. There is no replacement project.

PureGym still keeps its hiring records in Dayforce, with inploi alongside it.
